Since its inception, PGA REACH New England has awarded over $1,000,000 in college scholarships to the children, grandchildren and step-children of PGA Professionals, as well as junior golfers in New England.
Under the direction of PGA REACH New England and its Scholarship Committee, we are aiming to continue growing the number of scholarships available, as well as the amount of funding available each year.

The PGA of America REACH Foundation the 501(c)3 of PGA of America, has established a scholarship program to assist students intent on pursuing PGA of America Membership. These $8,000 scholarships are designed to improve the recruitment and retention of talented and motivated students from diverse and historically underrepresented backgrounds, who are pursuing PGA Membership through PGA Golf Management University Programs nationwide.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Applicants to the PGA WORKS John & Tamara Lundgren Scholars Program must be:
- High school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates. An intentional focus is placed on engaging a diverse demographic of participants, but all are welcome to apply.
- Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at one of the 17 accredited PGA Golf Management Universities pursuing a PGA Golf Management degree for the entire 2025-2026 academic year, with the intent to pursue PGA of America Membership
- Eligible individuals exclude persons or family members of the PGA of America National Board, staff, or scholarship selection committee.
