Rhode Island Independent Contractors and Associates Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Rhode Island Independent Contractors and Associates
Introduction and Purpose
The Rhode Island Independent Contractors and Associates (RIICA) created this Scholarship Program to support the children, grandchildren, members, and spouses of RIICA members. The RIICA Board of Directors unanimously approved naming one of the scholarships the Neil Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Award in honor of a longtime RIICA member. Both awards will be presented prior to July 31, 2025.
Award(s)
- One (1) $1,000.00, one-year scholarship will be awarded.
- The RIICA Grant was established to recognize students planning to continue their postsecondary education and will be presented to two applicants who are a child or grandchild of a RIICA member.
Please display and distribute the scholarship announcement in a prominent place where employees will see it. We recommend including this notice with employees’ paychecks in April to reach individuals who may have been on seasonal layoff.
